How do I add or delete content?
Right-click the relevant area. The context menu lets you add, insert, or delete paragraphs, text, time ranges, lists, and contact details.
Do I need to fine-tune every detail in the editor?
No. LeanCV keeps typography, alignment, and page structure consistent for you, so you can focus on writing clear content instead of adjusting decorative details.
Can I save an unfinished resume and continue later?
Yes. LeanCV automatically saves your progress when you return using the same browser. To continue in another browser or on another device, use Save to export your progress as a JSON file, then use Open to pick up exactly where you left off.
Does LeanCV upload my personal information?
No. LeanCV has no backend server, and your resume data stays in your browser's local storage. Your information leaves the browser only when you choose to save or export a file to your own device.
What if my resume runs just over one page?
Use the Line Spacing and Paragraph Spacing controls in the toolbar. Small adjustments can pull a short second page back into a balanced single-page resume.
Is a simple resume too plain?
Usually not. Recruiters scan many resumes, so clear hierarchy and concise writing matter more than decorative layouts. A restrained resume makes the important information easier to find.
Will there be more templates?
Yes, but the collection will stay intentionally small. LeanCV will add only a few useful alternatives rather than turn resume writing into a long template-selection process.
